Zimmerman Verdict

Episode 152: Last Saturday, six jurors rendered their verdict in the trial of George Zimmerman: not guilty. Several news commentators had anticipated this verdict. Civil rights leaders and critics were upset about the verdict. News anchors repeatedly used the word “stunned” in their coverage. Even the President made a statement asking that Americans “honor” Trayvon Martin’s memory by remaining calm and pursuing peace. Tune in as I attempt to cut through the secondhand smoke of the world and point us toward a counter-cultural spiritual reality which rises above race divide in our country.
